On Facebook Marketplace, the seller tells you "Grade A condition" — and that means whatever they want it to mean.
On Inexa, the cosmetic grade definitions are published below. A listing's review or verification state must come from its recorded evidence; the grade itself is not proof that other checks passed.
When a listing shows a verification status, review its recorded evidence and source rather than inferring verification from the cosmetic grade.
Excellent
Looks new. No visible signs of use under normal light.
Good
Light visible cosmetic wear.
Fair
Visible wear. Honest about it. Discounted accordingly.
Heavy wear
Heavy visible cosmetic wear or damage, disclosed on the listing.
New / Sealed
Brand new, sealed box, unused. Manufacturer warranty applies.
Record the listing evidence
Condition photos, seller details, repairs, battery data, and functional checks should be attached to the exact product record when available.
Keep review state explicit
A verification badge or review status should appear only when the required evidence and reviewer action are recorded.
Investigate disputes
Condition disputes should be assessed against the listing photos, recorded evidence, and the device received.
Apply configured enforcement
Confirmed misrepresentation should follow the current vendor-management rules rather than a hardcoded public threshold.
