Best Gaming Laptops in Nepal Under Rs. 1 Lakh
Finding a proper gaming laptop below Rs. 1 lakh in Nepal is difficult in 2026. We checked the current market to find the best options that can actually handle gaming without wasting your money.
Best Gaming Laptops in Nepal Under Rs. 1 Lakh (2026)
Looking for a gaming laptop under Rs. 1 lakh in Nepal sounds simple until you actually start checking the market.
In 2026, the situation is a little disappointing. Proper gaming laptops with dedicated NVIDIA RTX graphics have moved above the Rs. 100,000 mark. GadgetByte Nepal's July 2026 market update says there are currently no true new gaming laptops under Rs. 1 lakh, with even entry-level dedicated-GPU models becoming considerably more expensive.
That doesn't mean you can't game with a Rs. 1 lakh budget, though. Modern AMD integrated graphics have become surprisingly capable, and laptops with Radeon 760M or 780M graphics can still handle games like Valorant, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, GTA V, Minecraft and other lighter titles reasonably well if you don't expect RTX-level performance.
So instead of filling this list with normal laptops and calling them "gaming laptops", here are the options that actually make sense.

1. Acer Aspire Lite 15 (2025) — Best Choice Under Rs. 1 Lakh
If your budget is strictly Rs. 100,000, the Acer Aspire Lite 15 is probably the safest recommendation right now.
It comes with AMD's Ryzen 5 8640HS, a 6-core, 12-thread processor that can boost up to 4.9GHz. More importantly for gaming, the processor includes Radeon 760M graphics. AMD confirms that the 760M uses eight graphics cores and supports DirectX 12.
You also get 16GB DDR5 RAM and a 512GB NVMe SSD, which is exactly where I'd want a laptop to be in 2026. GadgetByte currently lists this configuration at NPR 99,999.

The main thing to understand is that this is not a traditional gaming laptop. There is no RTX 3050, RTX 4050 or dedicated graphics memory.
But that's also why it's lighter and more practical for university or office use than most bulky gaming laptops.
For someone who studies or works during the day and plays games casually at night, it makes quite a lot of sense.
What can you realistically play?
The Radeon 760M is better suited to competitive and lighter games than demanding new AAA releases. GadgetByte specifically positions this class of integrated graphics for light gaming, while AMD's specifications confirm that the 760M is a proper RDNA-based integrated GPU rather than basic display graphics.
For games such as Valorant, Counter-Strike 2, Minecraft and older titles, you should have a much better experience than you would on basic Intel UHD or Radeon 610M graphics.
For heavier games, you'll normally have to reduce graphics settings and sometimes resolution.
This one is actually more interesting for gaming, but there's a catch: finding it in stock.
The Ryzen 7 version of the Acer Aspire 15 has been listed in Nepal for around Rs. 89,999, although current listings show it as out of stock.
Inside is AMD's Ryzen 7 8840HS with Radeon 780M graphics.
The Radeon 780M has 12 graphics cores running up to 2700MHz, compared with eight graphics cores on the Radeon 760M. That makes the 780M the stronger GPU of the two.

The Ryzen 7 8840HS itself is also considerably stronger than what you'll normally find in basic laptops under Rs. 1 lakh, with eight CPU cores and 16 threads.
If this model comes back at anything close to Rs. 90,000, I'd personally choose it over most normal laptops in the same range if gaming performance matters.
Our pick: Best graphics performance under Rs. 1 lakh if you can find it.
3. Acer Aspire 15 Ryzen 5 8640HS — Best Value if Restocked
There is also a Ryzen 5 version of the Acer Aspire 15 that has been sold for around Rs. 75,999.
It uses the same Ryzen 5 8640HS and Radeon 760M combination as our top pick, together with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. GadgetByte's June update lists the model at Rs. 75,999 but marks it out of stock.
At that price, it was arguably the best value gaming-capable laptop available in Nepal.

16GB DDR5 RAM
512GB NVMe SSD

If you find remaining stock at around Rs. 76,000–80,000, this is worth considering before spending the full Rs. 1 lakh.
Just make sure you're buying the 8640HS configuration. Acer sells a lot of Aspire models with very similar names but completely different processors.
Our pick: Best value if you find it in stock.
Why Aren't There Any RTX Gaming Laptops Under Rs. 1 Lakh?
A few years ago, Rs. 1 lakh could get you surprisingly close to an entry-level dedicated gaming laptop.
That isn't really the case in 2026.
A July market update from GadgetByte says laptops with GPUs such as the RTX 3050 that previously sat around the Rs. 100,000–120,000 range have become much more expensive, leaving essentially no true dedicated-GPU gaming laptop below Rs. 1 lakh.
So if you see an article saying things like:
RTX 3050 — Rs. 95,000
or
RTX 4050 — under Rs. 1 lakh
check the publication date.
Nepal laptop pricing changes quickly, and many older "best gaming laptop under 1 lakh" articles are simply no longer accurate.
Should You Buy Integrated Graphics or Save More?
This depends entirely on what you play.
Stay under Rs. 1 lakh if you mainly play:
Valorant
Counter-Strike 2
Dota 2
League of Legends
Minecraft
GTA V
Indie games
Older AAA games
A Radeon 760M or 780M laptop can make sense for this type of use.
Save more for a real gaming laptop if you want:
New AAA games at high settings
Ray tracing
Higher and more consistent frame rates
144Hz gaming in demanding titles
3D rendering
Blender GPU rendering
Heavy Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve workloads
A dedicated NVIDIA GPU is still in a completely different category from integrated graphics.
If gaming is the main reason you're buying the laptop, I'd rather save for a proper gaming machine than spend Rs. 100,000 on something you'll want to replace after a year.
What to Look for When Buying a Gaming Laptop Under Rs. 1 Lakh
At this budget, don't get distracted by words like "gaming", RGB keyboards or aggressive-looking designs.
Graphics matter the most
For a strict Rs. 1 lakh budget, look for Radeon 780M or Radeon 760M before basic Intel UHD, Radeon 610M or similarly weak integrated graphics.
AMD's specifications show the Radeon 780M with 12 graphics cores compared with eight on the 760M, so the Ryzen 7 8840HS option is particularly attractive when prices are close.
Get 16GB RAM
I wouldn't recommend buying an 8GB gaming-focused Windows laptop in 2026 unless the RAM can be upgraded immediately.
Integrated graphics also share system memory, making sufficient RAM even more important.
512GB SSD should be the minimum
Games are getting huge. A 256GB SSD fills up incredibly quickly once Windows, applications and a couple of games are installed.
Go for at least 512GB, ideally with an upgradeable M.2 slot.
Don't obsess over the processor name
A laptop saying "Core i7" doesn't automatically make it good for gaming.
An i7 with weak integrated graphics can perform worse in games than a cheaper Ryzen 5 with Radeon 760M.
Always check the exact CPU and GPU model.
What About Second-Hand or Refurbished Gaming Laptops?
This is where things get more interesting.
If Rs. 1 lakh is an absolute limit, the used and refurbished market can sometimes offer better gaming hardware than buying a brand-new general-purpose laptop.
Instead of integrated Radeon graphics, you may be able to find older machines with dedicated GTX or RTX graphics depending on condition, age and availability.
But don't buy purely based on specifications.
For a used gaming laptop, check:
Battery condition
GPU and CPU temperatures
Display condition
Keyboard and trackpad
Charging port
SSD health
Fan noise
Original charger
Repair history
Warranty or return policy
This is also the kind of category Inexa Nepal is building around: helping buyers find verified new, used and refurbished electronics instead of relying only on random marketplace listings.
So, Which One Should You Buy?
If I had Rs. 1 lakh today, my decision would be simple.
For a brand-new laptop:
Get the Acer Aspire Lite 15 with Ryzen 5 8640HS and Radeon 760M if you find it around Rs. 99,999. It gives you 16GB RAM, a capable processor and one of the better integrated GPUs available at this budget.
If the Ryzen 7 Acer Aspire 15 comes back in stock:
Pick that instead if it's still around Rs. 89,999. The Radeon 780M is the stronger gaming option.
If serious gaming is your priority:
Don't force yourself to spend exactly Rs. 1 lakh. Save more for a laptop with a dedicated NVIDIA GPU, or consider a properly checked refurbished gaming laptop.
That's a much better use of your money than buying something simply because a seller puts the word "Gaming" in the product title.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which is the best gaming laptop under Rs. 1 lakh in Nepal?
For a strict Rs. 1 lakh budget, the Acer Aspire Lite 15 with Ryzen 5 8640HS, Radeon 760M, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD is one of the strongest currently listed choices at around Rs. 99,999.
Can I get an RTX 3050 laptop under Rs. 1 lakh in Nepal?
Not realistically in the current new-laptop market. Current 2026 market reporting says true dedicated-GPU gaming laptops have moved beyond the Rs. 100,000 range.
Is Radeon 780M good for gaming?
It's one of AMD's stronger integrated laptop GPUs. AMD lists 12 graphics cores and a graphics frequency of up to 2700MHz on the Radeon 780M inside the Ryzen 7 8840HS.
Is Radeon 760M enough for Valorant?
The Radeon 760M is suitable for lighter and competitive gaming, particularly when graphics settings are adjusted appropriately. It's considerably more gaming-capable than basic integrated graphics found in many budget laptops.
Should I buy a gaming laptop with 8GB RAM?
Try to get 16GB if possible. At this price, laptops such as the Acer Aspire Lite 15 already offer 16GB, so there's little reason to settle for 8GB unless the laptop has a dedicated GPU or an unusually good deal.
